The first priority is to pair the probe with the Repeater. The repeater and probe must be within 20ft, as the repeater needs to be close to the probe to convert the probe signal into a relay signal. For heavily shielded ovens, the repeater should be placed as close to the oven as possible. Ensure the charging of the repeater and probe is adequate. For Android devices, turn on GPS and Bluetooth, while for Apple devices, only Bluetooth needs to be enabled.

To set a custom temperature, open the BBQ menu and click the [Add] button in the upper right corner. Keep in mind that covering the BBQ grill will affect the Bluetooth signal, and the Bluetooth distance is about 6 meters. Without the cover, the signal distance is about 50 meters. The temperature of the black part of the probe cannot be heated to higher than 300 degrees and should not be directly exposed to the fire.
